This study aims to analyze the frequency with which presidential candidates resort to political narratives and to assess whether the trend towards a 'narrative turn' in electoral campaigns is confirmed. Methodology A quantitative exploratory content analysis was conducted on social media posts (Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok) by presidential candidates in seven South American countries. Variables related to the presence of political narratives, their nature, predominant themes, and public reactions were coded. Data reliability was ensured through a rigorous coding process and inter-rater analysis. Results: The study reveals a predominance of narrative content in South American presidential campaigns, confirming the "narrative turn" in political communication. Personalized storytelling outperforms storydoing, suggesting a preference for first-person stories. Discussion: Candidates prioritize proselytizing themes, but the public shows greater interest in personalized storytelling, questioning the effectiveness of storydoing. Conclusions: The results exhibit a transformation in political communication, where narratives and images play a central role. Co-citation, word co-occurrence, and bibliographic linkage methods were applied to map the knowledge structure in this field. Findings highlight “Pennington-Gray” is the most influential author, “Towards a Framework for Tourism Disaster Management” the most cited article, and “Current Issues in Tourism” the leading journal. “Australia”, the “U.S”. and the “University of Queensland” are the most productive countries and institution, respectively. Network visualisation highlights resilience and crisis response as key themes in tourism research. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the state of the art in crisis and disaster management in tourism, identifying research patterns that can guide future studies. We assessed the clarity of the items through the perception of students, while the internal structure was analyzed using exploratory structural equation modeling. The reliability was also examined, and its association with ASE and RSE, and by analyzing differences between students willing to choose the thesis as their first option against those who would not. The items have clarity and a four-factor oblique structure with modest factor loadings and complex factorial composition. A final 16-item version was established with satisfactory reliability. Furthermore, a direct relationship was found between ATD, ASE, and RSE, with higher scores among students preferring graduating through a thesis. In the agro-industrial sector, new technologies have been brought to the market, new regulations and technical standards have been considered, current costs and the technical capacities of those responsible for implementation and monitoring. The first thing to highlight is the decentralization of industry. Because Peru has a variety of climates, there are geographical areas that specialize in certain products. Biomimetic strategies, inspired by natural immune processes, offer new avenues to enhance vaccine performance. Objectives: This narrative review examines how bioinspired approaches—grounded in evolutionary medicine, immunology, and host–microbiota interactions—can improve vaccine immunogenicity and long-term protection. We further examine the evolutionary foundations of immune responses, highlighting how an evolutionary perspective can inform the development of durable, broadly protective, and personalized vaccines. Furthermore, mechanistic insights at the molecular and cellular level are explored, including Toll-like receptor (TLR) engagement, dendritic cell activation pathways, and MHC-I/MHC-II-mediated antigen presentation. These mechanisms are often mimicked in biomimetic systems to enhance uptake, processing, and adaptive immune activation. Results: The review highlights how immunosenescence, maternal immunity, genetic variation, and gut microbiota composition influence vaccine responses. Biomimetic platforms—such as nanoparticle carriers and novel adjuvants—enhance antigen presentation, boost adaptive immunity, and may overcome limitations in traditional vaccine approaches. Additionally, co-administration strategies, delivery systems, and microbiota-derived immunomodulators show promise in improving vaccine responsiveness. Conclusions: Integrating biomimetic and evolutionary principles into vaccine design represents a promising path toward safer, longer-lasting, and more effective immunizations.
